Question / Help Settings for ShootMania and Twitch.TV

Hello,

I love OBS. Clean and intuitive layout, everything just "works".

I'm currently trying to set up my new Laptop to stream ShootMania on Twitch.TV, but after several hours of reading guides and watching YouTube tutorials I just can't figure it out to stream in a decent quality without lags and fps drops. I'm now curious, if my setup is strong enough to stream anything, because if you say "dude, you can forget it with that CPU" i'm fine, but maybe there are settings I can try to fix it :).

I'm playing on an external 24" BenQ.

My Internet Connection:
max. Download: 16000 kbit/s
max. Upload: 1024 kbit/s

My Ingame settings are set to super low and a 1280x720 resolution. I have to play in Windowmode, since OBS doesn't recognize ShootMania in Fullscreen. Also I have a small Webcam and a small Spotify-Window in my current setup.

Would you say that streaming is possible in any way (480p?). Is it better to deactivate Webcam and Spotify-Window and just stay with the game itself?

try the following,
change the quality to 6
change the bitrate/bufsize to 800
change audio to aac 64
30 fps
resolution to 960x540
disable cfr and cbr.
change the preset to veryfast.
