Question / Help Settings for a 16:10 Monitor at 720p?

I have a 16:10 monitor at 1920x1200 resolution. I am trying to set the base resolution in OBS to 1280x720 for 720p on twitch but when I do and play a game like BF4 in full screen it zooms in on the game when I am streaming or previewing (not the game itself). If i use 1920x1080 it works and zooms in just a tiny bit but my computer is not good enough for 1920x1080 I believe since it tends to pixelate like crazy when I have movement in the game during a stream. Any tips for me? I am fairly new to OBS so I am having trouble. I also can't seem to find any help on the web about it either. It does work when I window the game and make it like 3x small than fullscreen mode, Then it is in full screen on my stream but I now have to play bf4 basically the size of my phone screen :P

I also want to avoid Base resolutions of 1920x1200 and 1280x800 16:10 since those create black borders and they also zoom in as well : /

If you want to stream at a 16:9 resolution with no warping or zooming of the image, you need to play the game in a 16:9 resolution. If you want to play the game at at 16:10 resolution, then you should live with the black edges, lest you resort to warping your image.

If you set your game resolution to 1920x1080, then you can set OBS to 1920x1080 and apply a 1.5 downscale, and that sill stream at 720p. Note that you will get a bit of letterboxing on your monitor as a result, but it will look fine in the stream.
