Question / Help Setting up an intro video to a stream with media source.

I'm relatively new to streaming still and am hoping to get some advice for setting up an intro video for my stream. Here's what I'm trying to accomplish:
  1. Start stream with a 10s intro video, only that video being visible/audible.
  2. Once media is done, it switches to my game capture and I can do my opening dialogue and get to playing.
I have the video done but I'm not sure where to begin beyond just adding a media source and then trying to sync my clicking "start streaming" with the video starting.

What can I do to make this a seamless process?

Thank you!

Add empty scene (black screen)
Add scene with intro and game, intro set Restart playback when source become active and hide source when playback ends
Add same Hot Keys for Start streaming and Scenes with intro and game
Run OBS from empty scene, run game, when you be ready use Hot Key, stream run and intro start.

I'm a bit confused. Do I really need a separate scene for this? Could I simply add the Media Source (Intro Video) to my existing scene (with my overlay/game capture/etc) and set the hotkey for "Show Intro Video" the same as my Start Streaming hotkey?

Also, is there any way to ensure that while the intro video is playing, that no other audio other than that video is being captured on the stream (i.e. Discord, Chrome, etc)?

Thanks for the response!

My idea was like that and you can do as you want.
I think the black screen before the broadcast begins to look professional, not amateur, you can take my advice or think of something own.
