Yep, if OBS crashes at any point, the entire MP4 becomes a pile of garbage. Cannot be saved or restored. FLV can. And OBS has a tendency to crash when trying to close out large MP4 files. Also seems to contribute to high-encoding/CPU issues.
Ok, have tried using .flv format, but have noticed when i watch the file back through VLC player that it takes approx 4-6 seconds to seek to a position in the file, can this be fixed at all?
I've personally used MP4 files for 6 months, and haven't had one crash or any issues with it... Quite odd, I'm not sure why so many people have problems with it?
