Serious Lag or "Not Responding" When Opening the Settings Menu

Is anyone else having an issue where OBS freezes or seriously lags when calling up the settings menu? Does this have anything to do with the number of scenes I'm using? I also use some nested scenes in my setup. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes it is caused by that.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can reduce the amount of scenes or life with it.
