I noticed you have a option in obs where if you have interlaced video coming in you can shoes away to deinterlace the video.
I'm surprised you don't have a top Field only and bottom field only so that the left and right eyes could be separated and you could have those as two capture sources one of the earliest video top fields only and one of the interlace video bottom Fields only.
I can think of three ways you could take 60 HZ analog video and make it work with a progressive HDMI capture card. You could either make it 30 frames interlaced and the alternate Fields would be the left and right eye respectively, you can make it 60 frames progressive and have alternate frames be your segregated left and right. And I think they might have used this on Space harrier 3D where they had 15 frames a second cuz that is the choppiest game I've ever seen on this thing about but they're 15 beautifully well defined interlaced frames but poorly animated. Which means that they be using 15 interlaced frames with alternate frames being left and right. By the way all frame numbers talk about original frames with left and rights being separate frames but being part of the same game frame unit.
Part of it depends on the way you take the interlace video and convert it to progressive on HDMI. Currently I use the scart cable of the Sega Master System and convert that to YCbCr using a retrotink device that does exactly that, then use a retro tank 2x Pro M to convert component into HDMI, then capture HDMI on a generic USB 3.0 HDMI capture card.
Is there a current way you could do left fields and right fields only ? (normally they are upper Fields only or lower Fields only, but in the context of Sega Scope there would be left eyes and right eyes in separate interlaced fields) and knowing that there are three possible ways you make stereoscopic 3D video out of 60 HZ NTSC, with all possible three ways be covered if they were all used and I know at least two of those ways were used on real Sega products back in the day, because space harrier 3D looks way too choppy except if it's 15 HZ interlaced for high definition with alternate frames for Left Right eye,
