Question / Help Second monitor lag?

So when I load up a game its fine, its when i switch to my other monitor to look at chat on twitch, all of my screen is laggy however my stream is fine and the quality is good? But my second monitor is unusable.... This only happens on some games... I really do not understand it. Any help?
