Question / Help Second Monitor Issue When Alt Tabing

While I'm playing a game and streaming/recording, when I alt tab into a game my second monitor goes black in different locations. Then when hover my mouse over the monitor it sort of fixes it.

There is probably not much you can do apart of running the game in borderless or window mode. Some games tend to black out other monitors when going full screen and this can sometimes result in the mentioned problem of a secondary monitor not updating. Does this only happen when you are recording with OBS or also when starting the game alone?
