Hi everybody,

sorry if this post isn't in the right forum.

I'm completely new with the OB softwares and Linux.
I'm trying to help a friend to install ob server, player and studio, he wants to open his own webtv which will broadcast a daily program with recorded videos and online concerts and interviewes. We're based in Paris (France).

I'm encountering so many difficulties in installing a clean version of ubuntu with ob server and obplayer, and to say the truth don't really understand how both are working together.

would someone be so kind to help me ?

any kind of help will be heartedly appreciated.

ob server, player and studio
You omit the S several times, and mention a server and a player, which makes me think you've got the wrong software, or a wrong understanding of how this works.

OBS is a single app that does everything.

he wants to open his own webtv which will broadcast a daily program with recorded videos and online concerts and interviewes.

I recommend Ubuntu Studio:
It comes with OBS already installed and working. Just use it.
Likewise for a TON of other creative apps...
