Bug Report Seamless Gameplay FPS But The Final Recording Stutters And Lags

I used to use obs roughly a year ago pretty heavily but stopped as I didn't have a great computer at the time and newer games were becoming harder for my system to process. I recently have acquired a new PC (Intel Quad Core Processor i-3 6100 Series and a GTX 1060 Supercharged Graphics Card) which can handle any game I put into it and more. I downloaded OBS and tried to record on overwatch (one of the less hard games to run already) and as I played the game was seamless 120 fps. As soon as I looked at the recording though was when I realized it was so unbearably laggy and stuttery you couldn't even tell what was going on. For the past few weeks I have been on and off looking for a fix to this problem and have found no such luck. I have even seen people on this forum with a similar problem who were told to lower their settings, I proceeded to try every conceivable setting, getting no better results. Even when I would go down a setting there was no less stutter in the , it was always just as bad regardless of what I did.

Here is a link to one of the recordings, this seems to have occurred every time I would try to record anything, keep in mind my computer is more than capable to record these things as I have done it before on a much much much worse computer.

Download the latest version and use OBS Studio Auto Configuration under "Tools" and setup local recording this way.

Use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output (Simple output mode) and select NVENC or QSV as your encoder. Your CPU isn't suited for real-time encoding at 1080p60.
