Question / Help Screen sized wrong/how to reset settings

Whenever I record there is a lot of black area around the video and I set the screen size to the monitor setting/defult and it looks very stretched upward. In the past I had obs it was laggy I deleted it. then got it again because I saw a vid on how to make it run smoother. So I got it again did those settings in now its all stretched is there a way I can reset the settings so it will be like when I first got it but change things but the size?

You can uninstall and choose "Remove settings" during the uninstall to completely reset everything.

Alternatively, you can delete the obs folder from %appdata% while OBS is closed.
