Question / Help Screen Freezing/Lagging on recording gaming

Hi there, I'm new to streaming and recording, and am finding when recording that although audio is recording fine, the game screen seems to lag on the recording (not when I'm actually playing the game). It is set as 'Window Capture', and only seems to be on a certain aspect of the game (during the match engine on Football Manager). Below is the link to one of my recent logs:

Thank you for any help you can provide! I sense it may be a poor computer spec, but keen to hear what I can do to improve things...!

Aero is Disabled

enable aero (uncheck disable aero in OBS and use a windows aero enabled theme).

dont use monitor capture. remove it and add in a game capture.

set scene buffering to 700ms
