Question / Help Screen capture question

I’m a new user. I teach Microsoft Office and want to take screen shots with instructions. In my first video/audio test, everything was fine EXCEPT that OBS didn’t show ANY of the menu drop downs. How can I get those to show up, please? Thanks.

Unfortunately, menus are only visible if you use display capture instead of window capture. No way around this.
