Question / Help Screen Capture Not Working

I am trying to install OBS on a new Dell touchscreen laptop. Everything works well EXCEPT no matter what video source I choose, I can't get an image to appear. I am running Win 10 Pro and the PC is an i7 with 16 GB RAM.

I would be willing to pay someone to fix this issue.

Please try to include a recording/streaming session when you experience problems while streaming or recording,
as OBS only writes important performance data during recording or streaming sessions.

If you have solved your problem yourself, please let the others know how you did it If someone else has the same problem,
he will find your post, read it through, is no step closer to solving it, and has wasted some time.

I'll gladly donate to the project if we can get it to work. OBS does work on my Dell desktop, but I need it to work on the laptop. For troubleshooting, I actually reset my computer. OBS is the first software I installed on the laptop. I have tried to get it to get the video to show during setup, but have had no luck. Last night we tried to install it with the help of an experienced OBS user and he couldn't figure it out either. So I decided to reset the computer and try from scratch. No luck.

I did go to the link you listed and got the instructions, but unfortunately I am not seeing the nvidia settings anywhere in Windows Control Panel to allow me to do what the instructions say.

I found the answer. Right click on the OBS icon and choose Run With Graphics Processor > Integrated Graphics (instead of NVIDIA) and there she goes.
