I have an image that I am using for a competition stream that shows the scoreboard. It is a screen capture of a specific section of a web page from the timing software we use.
The image has a border with curved corners, and the same background inside and outside the border. I would like to have everything outside the border transparent, and inside the border filled. The other challenge is that the image changes size if a competitor's name wraps to a second line.
I can Color Key out the background, and if the image stayed the same size, I could make a graphic that I layer behind the capture to fill it. However, because it changes size unexpectedly, the graphic would not always fit properly.
Are there any tools out there that would allow me to erase the background only outside the solid-colored border?
