Screen Cap PowerPoint - Video Refresh Poor Quality

Hi,

Am experimenting with recording my PPTs through OBS.
Trying diff settings: VBR and CBR.
While static quality is fine, when switching to new slide (full screen pic) the refresh is really poor, even on CBR (even a bit worse).
I know this is a bit of an ask for the processing but otherwise what's the ideal settings for this type of recording?

Thanks in advance

BR: 2000kbps
OS: Win10 latest
PC: 9700K
GPU: GTX1070

Do research on the forum. You will find hints like "dont use CBR with recording for good reason" (CBR only needed for streaming). Then you will learn that 2000kbps is not much at all. Well, it lasts for static content. But as you've seen already, any slide change contains much movement in content, so 2000 is way too low for that.

Any further hints do require a specific obs-log uploaded by you. It should contain a recording or streaming session with that issue:

With zoom conferencing its another thing. All conference systems distinguish two worlds: Powerpoint or all type of screen sharing are transmitted as "single frames" like screenshots, so with high resolution. Video transmission on the other hand has much lower resolution for the benefit of movement and lean bitrate in such applications.

Another item to consider, as I was told, was OBS' default Video Transform for my Windows Capture [bilinear], errs on the side of lower CPU impact at loss of video quality. For higher quality, it was suggested (by @FerretBomb I change the Transform [ Right Click on the Source, Transform -> Edit Transform ] to Bicubic (or Lanczos for higher quality, and higher CPU impact). As I have a Turing NVENC card, this article https://blog.mobcrush.com/getting-your-video-settings-right-in-obs-7eb43d23de36 suggests I should switch to Lanczos... but I haven't done so at this point)
