Scene Transitioning Help

So this is related to an issue I am having whenever transitioning between scenes. it will briefly show the scene I am transitioning to, is there a delay or way I can set it up so it doesn't do it. The link below is a quick video on what it displays, you can see that it barely shows the next scene I am transitioning to. I've had the same problem in the past. What you are actually seeing is the last frame in the scene/source you are leaving , not the first frame of the scene you are transiting to. Easy solution is to insure there is a fade to black at the end of your colorful background, then you see see a black flash/division
