Scene Transition Issues and previous scene re-activating

I have had some issues in the past few weeks in my scene transitions in that the transition changes as expected but the new scene is active for just a brief second and then the previous scene is re-activated and what is being shown.

I have the auto scene switcher plugin and using stream deck to make my changes from each scene.
