Scene switcher based on file content

Hello guys!
Would it be possible to have a plugin similar to the simple scene switcher which changes the scene according to the contents of a specific file? Could be a .txt, a .json..anything really. Would be of great use to me. :)

What exactly are you trying to do? Perhaps there is a better solution to your problem than such a plugin.
 
I'm currently writing myself a little HTML5 page which I use to control my overlays etc. and I'd like to switch scenes from there aswell. :) I looked a bit at the OBS Remote stuff but websockets are a bit too much for me to be honest.
