Scene Sources Move and Change Size if Something Would Otherwise Extend Off Screen

My scene was fine when I set it up, but when i reopened OBS, everything had changed in size and position. When I went to start moving sources to put them back in the correct place, EVERYTHING on screen started moving too and changing size. I discovered it appeared to be happening because it wasn't letting me move sources off screen, so the more I "Tried" to move a source off screen, everything else just shrunk to accommodate moving the source further off screen than I was allowed. If I cropped a source and moved it off screen, it wasn't an issue. All of the items are in a group, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

nothing was off the edges. however ungrouping the sources, putting them where they need to be and then re-grouping them seems to have fixed the problem.

It's a bug with group positioning. Change your group alignment to top left in the Edit Transform window.
Omg first of all, thank you for this info. I don't know how this is still a bug 2 and a half years later.... I have about a hundred groups that were all positioned precisely that I now need to realign and reposition. You can tell it was coders and not graphic artists who made the decision to default to top-left alignment because all graphics software makes the center the origin, since scaling from the center is a thousand times more common than scaling from the top-left, which is rarely something you would want. I hope this bug gets fixed soon, esp as it is intermittent, so even more confusing. Once again, thank you for the info!

Funny enough, I didn't even watch OP's video, cause I read the answer given and immediately knew it was the cause of my issue. I believe the problem OP faced was with the fact that a group's size is determined by its contents (as far as I can discern). My issue is that if I'm clicked on a scene with center-aligned groups in it and it's reloaded either by leaving the scene collection and coming back, or exiting and reopening obs, the groups would be positioned down and to the right of where they were. The alignment answer makes sense, like the initial loading of the scene is defaulting to the top-left position and using the values stored. The weird thing is that random groups in other scenes would be offset as well, but only a few, and which ones would do that would often change. Very odd inconsistencies. Anyways I hope the alignment bug gets fixed and also that an option to change alignment while maintaining a source's current screen position can be added. Cheers
