Hi

If i choose a source with Windows capture, I understand, that only this Window should be shown on the stream. But for me also my Browser and other stuff is shown. What am I doing wrong?

There should be "windowClass" in the data of those capture sources.. are you using 0.331a? or 0.33a? 0.331a was a quick fix I made the same day to fix this issue

ah! okay. going to check up on it then. could you give me like a step by step example of how to reproduce this problem on my end?

Also, on an unrelated note, going to remove this whole "black screen message every time you minimize the window" thing. Very unsightly. More understandable if the window is closed, but I think I'll just make it freeze the frame or something if minimized.

You said you still have the problem in 0.331. Could you explain me steps of how to replicate this problem on my end? Like for example, "open chrome, capture it, then do [this]" or something like that, if that's okay

I open Starcraft2, Firefox and Open Broadcastersoftware. I have 2 Scenes, Desktop and Starcraft 2 with the Source Starcraft2 Window. Start Streaming and you saw the result on twitch

I worked with Jim and we pin pointed the cause of this issue I think. Are you disabling Aero while streaming? I messed around and and found that this only bugs out with aero disabled

Yeah it will increase performance a lot, but I think it's the root of this problem. I'm sure it'll be fixed next version. If you want to try streaming with aero enabled it should fix the window capture issue and you can how much it hurts your performance

Hey! sorry for the late response.

You do not have to have aero disabled for window capture, just so you know. Should actually be super fast regardless. Sorry, I'm going to add some tooltips and hopefully more stuff in the help files in a version or two to better explain these things to users.

If you are say, capturing just the starcraft window. You can have aero on. If you use desktop capture however, you have to disable aero to maximize performance

Also, there's a known issue with window capture right now when aero is off where it will capture windows over it unfortunately. If aero is on, no other windows are captured. I don't know if there's actually anything I can do about that or not at the moment.

Hi!

I had this problem i while ago, so i enabled Aero again. But I read in the tutorial (obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=311) and in some other post this: "Aero should be disabled if you are planning to stream with the software capture option."

This would be exact the opposit of what we talk in this thread, in which was the source of my problem 2 months ago. Has this been fixed?
