Question / Help Scene media storage

Do I need to create a separate folder to hold all scene media content? Or does it make a copy and if so where is that folder so I can control unused media.
 
No, you can just have OBS load up the content from where it currently is (may need to run as Admin if OBS normally runs as user A and files are stored in user B's folders).
