Question / Help Scene freezing when I alt+tab

Hi,

I've been wondering if there's a way to stop the scene from freezing while I alt+tab.
I have a game capture scene with Smite. If I preview the stream and go into the game and then alt+tab out of there, I can see in the window that the stream shows the last frame I saw before switching windows (pausing it). Is there any way to for OBS to continue keeping track of the game even while I'm tabbed out or does this have anything to do with Smite itself (e.g automatically pausing it itself when alt+tabbing).

I assume your game is running fullscreen.

Because of how fullscreen games work, when you alt tab, the game isn't rendering anymore, and therefore, there is nothing for game capture to show.

So just running the game in windowed mode would allow it to continue then?
