Scene changing on startup

Hello, I'm looking for some advice on a small problem I encountered. I’ve been using OBS for several months, and this happens to me every now and then. After using OBS for a few hours, I put my computer to sleep while OBS was still open. When I wake my machine the next day, the scene has changed from where I left it (on an ending screen) to another one with a desktop display capture active.

I was concerned that someone might have been accessing it using the remote access websocket to try to access my desktop or microphone. I've never used remote access myself however.

Is it possible that there is some setting or feature/button that would change the scene on startup without my knowledge? I initially panicked and reinstalled OBS so I dont have the logs anymore unfortunately. It hasn't happened since I reinstalled a few days ago but I'm watching closely.

Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated, thank you!

There are any number of plugins and approaches to automating a scene change. I use Advanced Scene Switcher and love it.
Without knowing what you had installed, hard to say...
