Saving video to local file

Would a new feature to save video to a file on local disk (instead of uploading to a live streaming service) be feasible?
I don't especially need this and don't know how difficult it is to add, but just an idea.
 
yea, it's on the list of things to do, very important to get it in. it's coming soon
