Question / Help Saving local recordings as something else then FVL files...

Hello there!

I have been using OBS for streaming, now i am planning on setting up an youtube channel. For this i have made an second profile, and changed the settings to local recording. Now is my problem, i want to be able to view and edit my videos before posting them to youtube. But i cannot open FVL files as video... And i do not have an editor (yet) for this.

Does anyone know how i can fix this? And maybe an editor for FVL files that is safe and free.

In OBS settings, you can change the file's extension to .mp4. They'll be saved as mp4s from then on. Or you can convert the existing from .flv to .mp4 using ffmpeg. ([Guide] How to convert FLVs to MP4 fast without re-encoding)
