Saving issue - probably been answered 100x100 times

Sorry if this has been answered before. I am new here.
I just recorded about 4 hours worth of stuff (material for tutorials), screen grabs and little film of myself on my phone and thought that by Remux-ing them, they would convert and save. However, I can no longer find them on my HDD. Should I have done more to save these videos/sessions..?
Any help appreciated.
