Hello! I used to use OBS a ton for gaming recording and it broke (my fault) on my old computer, but I was about to get my current laptop so I didn't ix it. That's not my issue.
When I downloaded OBS on my current laptop, I recorded about an hour of gameplay and saved and was going to edit it, but when I got to my save file, it had saved the entire thing as a sound file, unable to be converted to a video file. I had an idea that a video editor I had used was the issue, so I got rid of the recording and editor. And I mean I uninstalled all files involved. But when I recorded again, it still would save to a sound file. I have changed settings of OBS, changed computer settings, and even reinstalled it twice.
Any ideas?
