Question / Help Save video in DVD format

Hi Everyone,
I do a job once a year for a local eisteddfod and I need to save the video in a DVD friendly format eg 720x576 30fps I am currently using
Elgato HD60 to capture the video at full resolution with OBS Studio and then trimming it and converting it with Sony Studio to a DVD friendly format, which is taking too much time. I would ideally like to capture it in the DVD format then I would only have to trim it and burn it to DVD(I know this format is on the way out but this is for a small country town who still us this format). My computer spec are Intel i7, 16GB Ram, Windows 10 Pro, OBS Studio 21.1.2.
Thanks for any suggestions

In Settings->Video->Base (Canvas) Resolution set 720x576 and in Output (Scaled) Resolution the same. This way, you create footage with that resolution.
I don't know how a capture card can be set up, but you should try to make it so that the capture card produces a video with that resolution as well, so it's all a 1:1 relationship. In case you cannot set this resolution, try to choose a resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio and fit this source into the OBS scene. To get no black bars, it's necessary that your source has the same aspect ratio as the canvas.
If this is not possible and you have to always capture at a 16:9 ratio, I recommend you set crop your source at the right and at the left, so the rest of the video gets a 4:3 ratio and fits into the canvas.

Hi Koala,

Thanks for that, that has helped the format get closer, I just need help to change the bitrate and GOP, I have attached a screen shot of the issues left.
