Question / Help S-video with obs?

Ok so this might be a dumb question but i recently got an s-video cable for my wii so that my quality will be better. Well i got it all hooked up but i cant seem to get the s-video quality to show up on obs.

I have this s-video cable: http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Composi ... ii+s+video

I have it hooked up to my wii then the white, red, and yellow composite ends going into one side of dual splitter cables, with the s-video and the red yellow and white base going into the dazzle. Then i have a separate composite cable hooked into the other side of the splitter with the corresponding colors then into my monitor.

Anyone know why the s-video quality wouldnt be showing up? Like if i preview in obs then take out the video composite end from my dazzle there is no video. Why isnt the s-video cable the primary source for the video?

And if this is a dumb question feel free to tell me. I have a sneaking suspicion it is lol. I dont think this requires a log but correct me if im wrong

The crossbar is used to select both audio and video inputs, the Dazzle drivers do not change the input automatically. Since the Dazzle drivers themselves are broken, you have to use Crossbar Thing to select the S-Video input.

Ok so i am running into a little problem. Paibox idk if you recall but i started using crossbarthing so i could get audio for my stream. Well if you remember i was having issues because everytime i would click the audio out option it would reset immediately after i closed it. Well the s-video option works perfectly, but whenever i go to set my audio the crossbarthing resets the video back to composite. I'm not sure why this is occurring. Any ideas?

Sorry, I wish I knew. I've heard of this happening for people with various devices on various systems, but I've never personally had it happen to me with the Dazzle. For me, it always saves the video pin setting permanently.
