Question / Help Ryzen 7 1700 - Want to stream in 1080p 60 FPS

Hi guys. I am streaming on YouTube Gaming and I usually stream League of Legends and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

My rig has:
- Ryzen 7 1700 - 3,5 Ghz OC
- 16 GB RAM - 2400 Mhz
- GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB

I want to stream with x264 in 1080p resolution and 60 FPS but I am getting massive frame drops in-game when I am trying that. As far as I know, I should be able to do that with my processor. Both LoL and PUBG have frame drops and I can say that PUBG is unplayable in this state.

I have attached a LOG file from my last stream.
I started in 5000 bitrate and 720p, followed by 1080p and then back at 720p.
Are there any special settings that I have to do in order to achieve the wanted results?

My guess is that my processors is being too stressed, but I don't understand why, I tried putting it from very fast to medium but the results were almost the same.

Thanks!

In your logfile it shows you have very minor rendering lag.
Limiting your frame rate in-game will help a lot in getting the best quality out of your hardware in regards to recording/streaming. I recommend using MSI AfterBurner or EVGA Precision to cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate, or 1-3 frames higher than your monitor refresh rate will generally resolve the issue of screen tearing. Try to avoid V-Sync as it can induce input lag.

From my limited testing (With a Ryzen 5 1600)
As for your resolution and bitrate, you should strive for:
3.5k or higher bitrate when streaming at 720p30fps
6k or higher bitrate when streaming at 720p60fps
6k or higher bitrate when streaming at 1080p30fps
9k (Preferably 12k+) or higher bitrate when streaming at 1080p60fps

Games with a lot of fast motion/grass/smoke/explosions will still look poor with 6k bitrate at 1080p30fps, 9k bitrate at 1080p60fps.

You should be able to use a CPU preset of veryfast at 1080p60fps, faster/fast at 720p60fps (Non CPU-intensive games you may be able to do faster/fast at 1080p60fps, medium at 720p60fps) The slower the preset, the more exponential workload your CPU has to do, they do however provide better quality at low bitrates.

Hope this helps!

Couldn't agree more.
BornDownUnder is right. Additional to what he said, the amount of game_sources and browser_sources (and therefore increase memory leaks) in your log are not looking good.
Just get rid of additonal game_sources, leave just one that will autodetect every game and keep an eye on those browser sources. They can increase CPU load drastically.
FPS Limit in PUBG is the way to go. It also feels much better with a much more stable capped framerate, instead of framerates jumping all over the place.
