Question / Help RTMP stream is showing black in OBS.

Hello friends,

I have two friends, streaming to my nginx service successfully. However, when i add their stream to my OBS via the video source plugin, their stream is not displaying.

When I attempt to open their streams in VLC, I get an error regarding the codec (cannot read codec).

Anyone know how to correct these issues?

Cannot read codec is a strange error. You might wanna try activating "meta copy" for the application in your nginx.conf.
You can also setup the stats file to get a list of the incoming streams and see if they report correct Video and Audio codecs, then maybe link us a screenshot of that.
