Rplay Buffer Question

Hello, All

How exactly does the RAM requirement factor into the Replay Buffer feature?
Does it further improve the quality of the saved video? Make sure the clip reaches the desired length?
I'd love to know all about it.

Thanks!

This RAM is used to buffer the captured video. If you write the replay buffer to disk, you're writing what's buffered in RAM. The amount of RAM defines directly how long the buffered video can be: double the RAM, double the buffer length. Replay buffer quality is set by the recording encoder settings. The amount of RAM doesn't relate to quality.
