Question / Help Roxio :/

Hey guys, I was just wondering about why Roxio doesn't quite work (Video capture wise) with OBS. This could be just for me, buy when I select it as a capture device (sorry don't know the exact terminology) I get the rainbow bars from that of an old TV. I was just wondering, and if there is a solution I would very much like to know since buying xsplit isn't exactly ideal. Thanks for your time, oh and if you're wondering what the bars look like just contact me and I will show you on my livestream (well once I see the reply and contact you back). Because its signal is encoded and has to be decoded. I will soonishly(tm) begin work on getting it working. I bought one and will be using it along with the hauppauge HD PVR 2 as testing devices with the new device code.

Great! Thank you for the answer! OBS is by far the best software to use when streaming and to be honest, the Roxio Streaming software isn't, well ideal. I appreciate the response and can't wait for the results!
