Bug Report Roxio game capture HD pro issue

Hello i'm having a very annoying issue with obs. every time i try to window capture my game play its goes purple and i cant fix it and i need help asap i'm a live streamer of Pokemon x&y at the moment but i wish to get into other games on my console. please help me :(

I think you might currently have no choice but to use monitor capture with sub-region enabled to get it captured on windows 8. Window capture can't typically capture opengl windows, so this sort of thing can happen. ..At least that's what I think what's going on, I'm still not entirely 100% sure if you mean just on stream or you mean it's the window itself
 
that still doesn't work for me i understand that i didn't have my console plugged in when i tested it but its still comes up purple.

and this only comes up on stream and on the screen which isn't right and the roxio software is fine and clear but it just goes purple when i do anything around it
 
I am having this problem sometimes also, depends on which computer I use. For me it was a Roxio problem, not a OBS one. For me it was just the graphics card wasn't good enough on one of my computers (laptop with built in card, EWW) I would try either another computer or update all your drivers and set driver settings to default. Hopefully OBS will have Roxio support soon :) Would make life so much easier
