Question / Help Roxio Game Capture HD Pro: Does it works?

Hi, I'm asking this because I'm about to buy a GameCapture HD Pro to record and stream my gameplays.
Does it works in "direct source" mode?
In this topic it's stated that "some roxio devices" won't work, because the signal is encoded, but is the GC HD Pro included in this list?
And, in this topic it's stated that

I'm going to buy a roxio, when I get around to finally getting to the god forsaken directshow code fixed I'm going to add HD PVR 1/2 and roxio.

It's taking me forever because adding it to the current code revision would be a waste, so it's better to just wait until after the newer code revision to implement them both.

but it's dated 1st September.
So my question is: today, will my future GC HD Pro, works with Direct Source on OBS?
Sorry if my english is full of errors, but it's not my motherlanguage.

It does not work yet. It hopefully will work after the rewrite.

After I get the UI to a reasonable state (which I'm currently working on) I'm going to be starting on devices first.

that was 2012 r u working on it now...? i bought this roxio to stream with obs.. plz work on it my friends just got the roxio for christmas they want to stream too.

What do you mean "that was 2012"? You replied to a thread from last month.

Also no, it's not being actively worked on right now. Functionality that enables the direct use of devices that output compressed video will not be implemented into regular OBS, but it will at some point be added to the OBS Studio rewrite that is currently being worked on. Also no, we can't give you an ETA for when this will be implemented.
