Question / Help Routing Pro Tools DAW output to OBS

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how I can take the audio outpout from my DAW (recording software) and route it to OBS via either the desktop audio or mic/aux options.

I'm running a custom built pc with Windows 8.1 64 bit with Pro Tools 12 as my DAW and an Avid Mbox Pro as my hardware audio interface.

The main issue I'm having: I can only get my computer's soundcard audio (Realtek Digital Output) to register with OBS. Many attempts to get the audio from my Mbox routed to OBS have failed, and below I list many of the things I have tried unsuccessfully.

If you're reading this right now, please consider that I have downloaded Voxendo, but being a 32 bit application, I'm not aware of how I can get that to function with my Pro Tools 64 bit set-up set up. I have also tried Voicemeeter and VB ASIO bridge.

I won't pretend that I actually know what I am doing, but I find it hard to believe there is no way you can route Pro Tools 12 DAW output to OBS. And yes, I have tried running cables from outputs on my Mbox to the line in/ mic in on my desktop inputs. That has not worked either.

If anyone has any piece of advice on how I should move forward (or what I may be overlooking), I would really appreciate it. At this point I'm considering just doing YouTube stuff, but I'd really like to broadcast my music live through Twitch, so even if there is an alternative software out there that you think I should try, please let me know,

Furthermore, I just want to add that I'm not entirely sure this is indeed a software or a hardware issue. All the audio that outputs from my Mbox is through an analog line signal. This hardware is also connected via firewire, not usb, whatever difference that makes. I have started thinking about looking into a MADI system, as I really want to broadcast high-quality audio streams, but again, I could really use some advice about this....

Thanks guys, take care.
