Hi, is there a way of rotating a window?
I got a 4:3 monitor rotated 90 degrees for vertical shooters etc. (3:4 ratio)
But (ofcorse) when capturing the screen, the output window is 4:3.
I checked googled and I can't seem to find anny tool to rotate a single window.

Hope this can be realised some how.

Ah, in the current version of OBS rotation is not available. But the Multiplatform rewrite will include full rotation abilities.
It will be some more time though, until we see a first release for Windows. At the moment I actually am not sure what you could do :/

Thanx for the post, hope the Multiplatform rewrite gets here soon. :)

Ok, I finaly found something:

With VLC player you can preview a capture device, than apply rotate filter.
Capture the preview window with OBS
To bad I can't get Roxio hd pro to work with it.. (rest of my capture devices do work!)

Thanks for reporting back, thats a good idea actually.
The roxio with its encoded output is the problem for VLC in this case I guess.
(As mentioned, the rewrite will support both the roxio and rotation)

It's like the roxio wont even starup in vlc when i start the preview.
When I start other devices i can see the cpu usage go up, but nothing happens when starting the roxio.
Got anny idea? I also posted in the VLC forum but no reaction..

Well VLC probably does not have an encoder for the roxio, which is also the reason why the roxio device does not work in OBS currently.
