Question / Help Rocksmith sound distortion (static noise)

Hello everybody,

I recently started my own YouTube game channel and I wanted to record a bit of Rocksmith as a coverage episode using OBS, but I'm having a lot of problems with the sounds.
I already found out the sound is not recording if I open rocksmith after I started the stream, but this is not my main concern.
When watch my stream after recording, it has a lot of static noise. You can't hear anything but this annoying, loud noise.
Has anybody encountered this issue before? Maybe with another game?
If you know how to fix this, please let me know.

You have to disable 'exclusive audio mode' inside of Rocksmith and restart the game. It will induce quite a bit more in-game lag, but it'll allow you to capture audio again, instead of random garbage data.
