OBS in its current version has a persistent problem with audio monitoring in regards to media files. Setting such a file to restart when activated will either refuse to output to the monitoring device or will run for several seconds before cutting out entirely. With multiple files this problem persists and the one constant is always the "Restart playback" option that triggers the bug.
