Question / Help Resolution setting?

I am tryin to configure a Canon Vixia HFR70 thru an Aver Media Extreme capture device. OBS sees the camera but the window says the camera is out of range to configure the resolution. I have gone thru all the setting as far as I know to no avail. Any suggestions?

Sorry it has take so long to reply. The camera resolution can’t be changed. What I did was enter the default resolution as a custom and it worked. I’m using vMix right now but thought I would try something that gave me a little more leeway. I am a slow learner. Thank you for your help.

That's something you do on the camera.

I have to use mp4 because that is the setting for the streaming service we use.

If your streaming service uses RTMP servers, it uses FLV format for the stream. You have no say in the matter.
