Question / Help Resolution problems with arma 3

Been trying to record (not stream) some arma 3 footage, but the resolution keeps getting messed up. At first it would be zoomed in like this: http://i.imgur.com/4yvQHOR.jpg note the compass getting cut off, display message cut in half and weapon info in top right info not showing at all. I checked my OBS settings and saw that the resolution was set at 1536x864, so I changed it to 1920x1080, since that is the resolution of my screen and arma 3, but that gave me a huge black border like this: http://i.imgur.com/hgDzfn4.png

I'm a total noob when it comes to these things, so any help would be appreciated.

Right click you Game Source -> Properties and tick Stretch image to screen.
After that, right click you Game Source again and select Position/Size -> Fit to screen.
