Hi guys,

i have a Problem with obs. I have a 4 K Montior but i only use it for 2560 x 1440 p. Now when i use Monitor Capture i get black bars at the right and bottom corner. I think it has to do something that obs thinks im using 4 K because when i go 4 K is went fullscreen.
So is there anyway to fix this? Im sure im using 1440 p.

Enable edit, then right-click that source - Position/Size > Fit to Screen

Also make sure in the Profile Settings in Video you have set the resolution you want to use for capturing

Do you have your resolution in Windows set to 2560x1440 or are you setting it a different way?

Nevermind... hold on
I guess you can Crop it, click on the Monitor Source, click on Edit button, now hold "Alt" key on your keyboard and crop all the black areas shrinking it with your mouse

Then afterwards do the: Enable edit, then right-click that source - Position/Size > Fit to Screen
