Question / Help Resolution in league

So recently I've been streaming on twitch, but I've encounters a lot of problems. I've managed to fix most of them but there is one I just can't get. Ok, so. I've recently managed to put my LoL in borderless windowed mode with a program called borderless windowed mode. When I press shift and f12 It will put me in borderless windowed. Now this would be fine but when I stream my default resolution is 1600x900. Every thing is going fine I can alt tab without minimizing the game and I get arround 30fps, however i would like to get maybe 40 to 50 fps. But when I change my resolution to something smaller like 1280x700 my window becomes very small and can see my desktop out of the sides of the window. Usually I would just put league in full screen mode in the videos tab in the game itself, but when I do that it minimizes my window when I alt tab even though I am in borderless windowed mode, so I have to keep it on 1600x900 resolution, unless I want to play it in a very small window.

If you can tell me another way to use borderless windowed mode or another way to have a smaller resolution like 1280x700 without putting it in the full screen option in league. That would be awesome, I know I probably worded this really terrible, but try and bare with me, I'm its hard x3

LoL already supports a borderless windowed mode natively, you don't need to use a third-party program to enable it. Check the game's video options.

As the name indicates, borderless windowed mode means the game is running in a window. In order for it to look like a full screen program, it has to run at the same resolution that Windows is using. If Windows runs at 1600x900, then that's what the game has to run at in order to take up the entire screen. The only way to allow the game to run at a lower resolution and continue to take up the entire screen is to also change the resolution Windows itself runs at. Want to run the game at 1280x720? Change Windows to that resolution first. It's not a very graceful solution, but it's pretty much the only one available that would do what you want.

Ah, ok. I was afraid of that. Is there any way I can get more fps while streaming by changing something in obs? Because when I change my graphics in LoL to low I get the same frame rate as if it were on high, so there's really no reason to stream in low graphics.

Only use monitor capture when in lobby (or preferably window capture on the lobby window so you can enable aero). Use game capture or window capture when inside a game. Use two scenes and use hotkeys or the scene switcher to switch. Kind of an unideal design by riot for capturing

I really enjoy the monitor capture, can i use window capture in game and monitor capture at the same time? will it give me more fps in game. Or am i just reluctant to what has to happen in order to get more fps?

Game capture and window capture are the most efficient capture methods. Window capture also gains a boost when aero is enabled for windows surprisingly. Monitor capture is the least efficient capture method.
