Resolution conversion possible?

Don't know if this is the right title for my question.

I have added a UDP videostream input to my OBS playout. Problem is that the input can have different resolutions. I can manually resize the screen, but is there a way to automaticly zoom/crop to a specific region on the screen?

As default for a source, OBS will resize the source to the actual source resolution. To automatically scale a source to a fixed resolution, or better to a fixed box according to aspect ratio, there is the concept of a bounding box around a source. To scale to the bounding box, right-click the source->Transform->Edit transform and set the "Bounding Box Type" to an appropriate scaling type. Usually, you want "scale to inner bounds", so the image will never stand out of the source border.
