Question / Help Rescale/Resolution Problem

I've figured out a few days ago that my videos were "blurry" because both the Base Canvas Resolution was set to 1280x720 and the Output Resolution was also set to 1280x720. I've change both of them to 1600x900 (my monitor's resolution) and it looked really good.
Now the problem is that when I try to record with my monitor's, my FPS (from OBS) drops from 60 to about 47-50fps. Is there a problem with my settings or should I stick to 1280x720?
Also, if I remain with 1280x720 I would like you to recommend me some good settings so I can get quality similar to the 1600x900.
My PC Specs are :
CPU : Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60 GHz
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Memory : 12 GB Ram

Yes but the quality on 720p is horrible. I tried to record 1920x1080 but sometimes my fps drops (from 60 to 53) but only when in menu.
