You've probably heard of ShadowPlay, but since its still in Beta and streaming to twitch has just have been released a couple of days ago, it should be able to access the encoder chip through the drivers with third-party software somehow.
I dont know if its possible, but when, it would be great if OBS would support it, so everyone can use the encoder chip on a geforce card for streaming if he owns a nvidia card.
The built-in encoder chip is capable of recording/streaming in 1080p@60fps which is more than enough for twitch and would result in less cpu utilization or even could replace a second streaming only machine with a capture card - in my theory :).
