Question / Help Replay - Multicam replay ?

Hi again,

The replay, if i understand things right, will replay the video buffer, that is what is on the selected cam. I'm now with a 2 black magic aquisition cards, with 2 cams (and soon will be with 3)... It would be interesting to have a replay for each cam, so if the main cam is not with the right angle, maybe the other will be...

How can i do this (if it's possible... ;) )

Regards
S.

As far as I understand the Instant Replay plugin, only replays the same scene?

The author is asking about if it is possible to replay from another scene then the one that is active ?
I have the same use case. Does anyone have a solution on this?

I got a tip that you can use 2 OBS, and save a replay from the active scene to a file on the first OBS and then the other one can use the file and replay it. It works.. but not optimal.

It's the question, as my regular replay is not a problem so far ;)

I will have 3 cam, one following the action, and two with some kind of reverse angle shooting. Th stream will mainly be done by the Main cam (following cam), and the reverse angle could be intersting for the replay... but i don't want to have 2 or 3 obs running simultaneously just to have 3 replay sources (even if it works ;) ).

I know that the replay plugin i suggested only does 1 channel(the main output). The problem is that with only obs and 1 instance you simply can't so that that (i even tried to use render delay). You could use the vmix replay feature, the integration with obs is really easy thanks to ndi, but then you bought a 700$ or 1200$ software that could also do the switching. I'm not aware of any ndi compatible open source/free replay system, so you have to work around the limitations of 1 obs instance to get it to work.
