I am not being an ass, I just want the feature and an explanation why such a key feature isn't implemented yet, that simple. So if you have given a normal response to the first message, it would have ended there.

You asked for when it would be back, as there is no date "Until it's done" is a perfectly normal answer and intended as a normal answer.
You didn't ask for an explanation in your post (noone owes you an explanation btw), but I gave that above your last post.

OBS-Studio is open source, anyone is free to add features to it, so just make a pull request for this "simple" thing.
