I was playing Scorn and by default the settings have it locked to 60 fps. When I unlocked this to 144 fps, I noticed that my new captures were unwatchable due to stutter. I have the game running at near max settings, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a RTX 2070 Super and the game runs just fine. I do have OBS capturing at 60 fps.
I guess my main question is what specifically is causing the stutter? Is it the high frame rate causing issues? I have other games that capture just fine at >60 frame rates. Is it something to do with Fidelity FX in Scorn? Is my GPU/CPU being overloaded by the recording? Anything else I am not thinking of?
